A Postcard from the Thruxton Historic

Limited time means that this report is almost entirely visual. Whilst a relatively recent “thing”, the Thruxton Historic meeting seems to sit well with drivers with the fast, very fast, speeds out in the country and the chicane each lap providing a real challenge. 

The lack of significant fencing and visual proof that England can still be a green and pleasant land makes it a good spectator experience and even better for the spectator photographer.

It would have been very easy to just sit at the chicane all day where action is guaranteed most laps one way or t’other, but we have tried to give a flavour of the photographic opportunities at Thruxton.
