A quick guide to the title contenders going in to Oulton Park Sept 11th – 12Th
With the team championship all but sorted, with Barwell Motorsports and the pair of Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo’s topping the GT3 table with 214.5pts and their nearest rival is RAM Racing in the 3 Mercedes AMG’s on 125.5pts. I think it is safe to say this is how the 2021 season will end.
It is a very similar story in GT4 Century Motorsport topping the table with 242.5pts in the pair of BMW M4’s and the nearest rivals, Team Rocket RJN with the McLaren 570S GT4’s on 125.5pts.
It is a totally different affair in the drivers’ championship with only 20pts separating the top 7 GT3 drivers, Leo Machitski and Dennis Lind share top spot with 117pts.
Andrew Howard, Ian Loggie and Yelmer Burram close behind with 110.5pts, With Adam Balon and Sandy Mitchell with 97.5pts.
In the GT 4 drivers’ championship Will Bruns and Gus Barton are leading the table with 143.5pts and their team mates in the other BMW M4 are on 99pts and in 3rd place is James Kell of RJN racing in the No2 McLaren 570S.
