I have always been a motorsport fan with a huge passion for racing cars and bikes.
Having been an amateur photographer for many years I feel it is the right time to progress to being freelance and slowly turning professional mixing all these passions in to one.
I specialise mostly on fast track action by using freehand camera panning techniques and shutter speeds bringing a sense of speed and atmosphere to the photography.
I also like creative scenes that are usually hard to reproduce, thus capturing one off special moments at motorsport events.
Although I enjoy Silverstone and Brands Hatch which are more local to me, I often travel a little further to my favourite circuits which are Donington Park, Snetterton and Thruxton.
I would like to try a few more new circuits now I have read all the guides and there are a few that interest me.
I have always used Nikon DSLR cameras. I now carry two cameras, one with a couple of Nikkor kit lenses for the paddock and wide angles (18-55mm and 70-200mm) and another camera body with a sigma 70-300mm and a 150-600mm attached to a monopod for the main action and panning.
