British GT Championship - Qualifying - Oulton Park

Matt Evans went along to the British GT Championship qualifying session at Oulton Park to capture the action for us. Matt has been in conversation with the PistonClick team over the last few months focusing on improving his motorsports photography. 

This is his first submission, a postcard from yesterdays qualifying session as we run up to tomorrows bank holiday race. It should be an interesting race as Jules Gounon put in the fastest ever British GT lap of Oulton Park in qualifying. The 2 Seas Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT3 is not surprisingly on pole!

The six tenths Jules Gounon knocked off his best 2022 lap time is impressive, but wont go into the history book unless he and his team can do it tomorrow during the race. It looks like the weather will be the deciding factor as it looks like its going to turn from the sunshine of the last few days to "changeable".
